Rosacea is a chronic noninfectious inflammatory disease of the skin of the face. Etiology is not clear. The emergence and development of the disease are associated with endocrine disorders, focal infection, alcohol and hot drinks abuse, deficiency of vitamins B, harmful effects of climatic factors and bad ecology, dermoid mites, digestive disorders, and liver function disorders.<\/p>\n
On the face, there is a stable passive limited erythema, which leads to the formation of telangiectasia. In the future, there appear stains and papules from bright red to bluish-crimson color, which tend to become pustules that merge into separate, sometimes massive infiltrates. With prolonged treatment, the skin of the face thickens. In places, the infiltrates are converted into volumetric lumps, the ducts of the sebaceous glands are greatly expanded and when pressed, an unpleasant smell appears from them.<\/p>\n
Most often, rosacea is localized on the nose, forehead, cheeks, rarely on the chin. Subjective feelings are small, patients are more concerned about the cosmetic disadvantage. The disease occurs usually in adulthood and very rarely in the juvenile age (juvenile form).<\/p>\n
In the treatment of\u00a0<\/strong>rosacea<\/strong>\u00a0by method of hirudotherapy<\/strong>, it is necessary to take into account all disorders of the organism, leading to the emergence and development of rosacea (digestive tract disorder, endocrine disorders, liver function disorders, focal infection). Therefore, in addition to local attachment of leeches, general hirudotherapy is performed according to individual patient\u2019s indications.<\/p>\n

Hirudotherapy in case of<\/strong>\u00a0couperosis<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
Couperosis, or telangiectasia, is a stable expansion of small vessels of the skin (arterioles, venules, capillaries) of noninflammatory nature, which manifests itself as vascular asterisks, grids.<\/p>\n
Hirudotherapy for couperosis is conducted locally, and with attachments in the area of liver. The method of correction by capillaropathy, the so-called capillary therapy, is used.<\/p>\n
